A) For a 20 year old kid, you are doing great. Not everyone your age has the guts to start a businesses.
B) Hire an editor. The writing is good enough for spinning, keyword stuffing, and fillers, but still not for primetime.
C) You need to get better. This blog represents you, and your company, and your writing is nowhere near native speaker level. If it were, you won’t be charging $5/article and be happy about it.
D) Current rates for local copywriting is $25/page, or a minimum of 1,000 PhP, whether half or full page. There are days when I’ve managed to win projects at $50/page.
My first side gig was writing English papers for my classmates, so not far from what you’re doing. I charged 150 PhP per page, and that was ten years ago.
You need to get better, so you can charge more. Watch your Filipino-isms, because that’s what separates the amateurs from the pros. Brush up on grammar, because writing is weighed heavily on the basics. But not all writers are perfect, so get an editor. Get an excellent but brutal editor, and you will improve.
